What was the highlight of Scandic Arvika
We don’t recommend Scandic Arvika!
We have lost our luggage at your storage. We asked for storage and you guys looked it in for us. Now when we got home, my gifts and medicine is gone. This is not okay! Our room was so ridiculously dirty , the shower was really dirty, the cleaning staff did a really dirty job. We stayed from 18 - 21 July. We left over 5000kr nok, and this is what we got! So disappointed!! My gift from husband and our medicines is gone, only our packages is here, but empty! Stolen from our luggage. I actually feel that we should get our money back, and replacement for our gifts and policies should be talked to about Medecine. We also payed 1000kr for something that the staff sets on our room, I can’t believe that some sodas cost 1000kr nok!! We got blamed yesterday for our wc was full, staff came in the end, but we needed to call many times before they come. Staff didn’t clean our room either. I’m so shocked and sad that we chosen your place to celebrate our anniversary ! We Don’t Recommend Scandic Arvika!

What was the highlight of Scandic Arvika
It was clean and location was good, however it was disappointing
First of all, the webpage should be updated. We expected to book a massage as stated on the site, however hotel does not provide that service any longer. Second of all, the relaxing area opens at 15:00 but when coming there a sauna was not even switched on. So we had to wait to get it warm. It should be stated in advance, so we could estimate the time better, especially if having children. Thirdly, one of your staff was constantly in the dining area during breakfast, filling the food and cleaning tables, with her hair loose. The hair should have been at least made in ponytail, according to hygienic rules. And last but not least we have got a super small room for the price we paid.

Nice food and staff, beds are comfy but room ventilation is noisy and spa is broken and not clean.
I loved the breakfast! Really good wheat starch free options and wonderful supply of everything. Very comfy bed! Nice staff helping out with things!
1. Noisy room with noisy air flow (undertryck i ventilationen och ej luftade element skapade sus och tjut och en otrevlig ljudmiljön att sova i och som de menade inte gick att åtgärda) 2. Very small and basement-like rooms for full price 3. The spa: A. moldy shower tiles (mögel i kakelfogarna, förkalkningar på kaklet) I got an allergic reaction after showering B. The sauna did not work properly and no proper heat/broken switch (knappen till bastun fungerade inte och bastun blev bara ljummen) C. The pool was closed D. Broken light in the toilet room, so I smelled that someone had peed in the showers instead (lampan på toaletten i spat funkade inte och någon hade kissat i duschen istället)

Good place for a short term stay.
Great food and service in the restaurant. Clean and tidy all through the hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff.
The bathroom in the room as well as the jacuzzi/sauna area downstairs could use a renovation - looks like it's been 30 years since last time.
